Mozart and Rossini autumn

As I were drinking my coffee here in the hotel in Gdansk, I  came to think about this autumn and what kind of repertoire I will be doing, and it struck me that its mainly Mozart and Rossini.
Here’s a list:

Missa Brevis in C    – Mozart
Freimauerkantate – Mozart
Requiem                    – Mozart
Il Barbiere di Siviglia 1. act  (Conte Almaviva) – Rossini

Yesterday I sang the Missa Brevis in C by Mozart with the Polish Baltic Philharmonic orchestra and the Gdansk chamber choir. The conductor was Ernst van Tiel. All in all it was an amazing experience. The cathedral we sang in was so full that people were standing all over the floor.

Now onto the new exciting challenges and amazing music. I go back to Oslo tomorrow. On saturday I will be singing at a “masterclass” by my housemate, colleague, and good friend Patrick Egersborg, which has this comic personality called Hjørdis Husbråtjern. Here is the link to the facebook page:
